One Year
One year ago today the first post on this blog was published, titled Eggs. It was a short one expressing my love of the nutrient-packed animal product. Since then, my posts have gotten much longer and delved into an array of different topics concerning technology and culture.
I wrote something similar to this in my new intro on the home page as well, but I will repeat here. Ever since I started this blog, I have forced myself to write a few paragraphs every week. This has broken the barrier between my mind and the keyboard. Writing for me used to be an arduous process fraught with procrastination and frustration. Now it is simple: I open Obsidian and start letting my thoughts flow. This has been great exercise for my mind, and a great way for people interested to read my thoughts.
I'm going to continue this for another year to come. This domain is inexpensive; I do not see myself letting go of it any time soon. There are so many things happening in the realm of technology and privacy I still have yet to write about. Further, there are still different sections of this website I have yet to develop. I built this website with expansion in mind; you'll notice that each of this posts has been under the /blog sub folder. One day I will add a /stories folder that contains my creative writing.
For my seven subscribers, thank you. I'm glad you've entrusted your inbox with my notifications. For you, dear reader, thank you for being here. I mostly did all of this writing for myself, but you have found it interesting enough to keep coming back. Now I write for you, including myself.
